What is Massage Therapy?

Massage is one of the many types of ‘touch therapies’ in the complementary therapy industry. Massage therapy is aimed at promoting relaxation, relieving symptoms from conditions such as poor circulation, muscle aches and strains, menstrual problems, digestive problems, headaches, migraines, tension, insomnia, stress, anxiety and a lot more.

Massage therapy has been shown to encourage the release of endorphins, our body’s natural pain killer. While massage therapy is an effective treatment for a range of physical problems, it also provides a very relaxing experience overall.

In order for you to get the most out of your massage treatment, It’s important to prepare well for your treatment so that you can maximise all the health benefits that massage therapy has to offer and improve your overall well being.

This article will provide you with over 30 tips that you can use to prepare for your massage treatment at HOLISTICA.
